Deer tear and pull at the plants they browse, often reaching two to six feet off the ground. Rabbits work the opposite way. They feed low, generally under about two feet, and they leave a signature behind: clean, angled cuts on stems that look almost like they were snipped with shears rather than torn.
In winter, rabbits also gnaw bark at the base of young trees and shrubs when other food is scarce. Vegetable beds and new plantings tend to take the worst of it, since tender new growth sits right at rabbit height.

Will this get rid of rabbits completely?
