Acreage, Orchards & Rural Properties
Real Ground. Real Pressure. A Real Plan.
Open acreage backing onto woods sees more deer traffic than a suburban yard ever will. We build treatment plans around the areas that carry the most value and take the most pressure, not blanket coverage of every acre.
Built For Rural Ground
Who We Work With
If your property backs onto cover, or the browsing pressure is heavier than a typical yard, this is the plan built for you.

- Hobby Farms
- Orchards
- Nurseries
- Vineyards
- Tree Farms

Different Ground, Different Pressure
Rural Browsing Pressure Is Not Suburban Browsing Pressure
Deer that bed in adjacent woods and cover do not have far to travel to reach your plantings, and they browse heaviest at dawn and dusk when a rural property is quietest. The pressure is heavier and more constant than what a fenced-in suburban yard sees.
That pressure concentrates where it does the most damage: young stock and new growth. Newly planted trees, fresh nursery stock and this year's growth take the worst of it, because they are the easiest and most appealing browse on the property.

What We Treat
Where The Damage Actually Happens
On a farm or acreage property, treatment goes where the value and the pressure both concentrate.
- Orchard Trees & Young Fruit Stock
- Nursery Stock
- Vineyard Rows
- New Tree Plantings
- Specialty & Ornamental Plantings
- Garden & Vegetable Plots Near The House
How We Plan On Larger Acreage
Priority Zones, Not Blanket Coverage
Ten or a hundred acres cannot be treated the same way as a quarter acre yard, so we do not try to. We plan around priority zones instead.
-
Walk The Ground
We walk the property with you to see where the deer are actually feeding and where the cover lines sit closest to your plantings.
-
Set Priority Zones
Instead of blanket coverage across every acre, we identify the zones that carry the most value and the heaviest pressure, and we treat those first.
-
Treat What Deer Reach First
Young stock, new plantings and the rows closest to tree lines get priority, since that is where deer make contact first and damage adds up fastest.
Limits At Scale
What A Treatment Plan Can And Cannot Do
Heavy deer pressure on open acreage is a harder problem than a suburban yard. There is more ground, more cover nearby, and more deer traffic than a fenced, landscaped lot will ever see. We are not going to tell you a spray program erases that difference.
What a treatment plan can do is reduce browsing on the zones that matter most to you, applied on a schedule and reapplied as new growth comes in. What it cannot do is promise zero browsing across acres of open ground under constant pressure. We will tell you honestly, during the on-site walk, what a plan for your property can and cannot deliver before you commit to anything.
Rural Property Questions
Before You Book A Site Visit
Can you treat a whole farm or just part of it?
Most acreage properties are treated by priority zone rather than wall to wall, focused on young stock, new plantings and the areas closest to tree lines and cover. We walk the ground with you to decide what makes sense for your property.
Will this work if we back right up to woods?
Properties that back onto cover see heavier and more constant pressure, and treatment helps reduce browsing on the zones we treat. We will be direct with you about what to expect given how close your plantings sit to that cover.
Do orchards and nurseries need a different schedule than a yard?
Often yes. Young fruit trees and nursery stock take heavier damage and may need more frequent visits during active growth, especially after rain or a flush of new growth. We set the schedule around what is actually growing on your property.
How do you price a large acreage property?
Acreage size alone does not set the plan. Pricing depends on which zones need treatment and how often, so we quote after walking the property with you at no charge and no obligation.
